The Barter House was founded
Reykjavik, 1999/2000 by a number of businessmen’s and others interested in
promoting the practice of Barter, Counter-trade and Offset in the world of
business and commercial community. We are a leader in third party Barter,
Counter-trade and Offset administration. Our innovative approach to the design
of efficient systems and processes makes us an ideal partner today and over the
long term.
The objective behind setting
up of this company is as follows: To help Governments, States, Companies which
have spare capacity to increase production and cannot do this either due to lack
of purchasing power (immediate liquidity) of purchaser or due to inadequate
finance for purchase of raw materials / services.
